So I'm transfering to U of I next semester officially. And I got my nose pierced today and it didn't hurt that badly, but it was a wierd sensation of a needle going through my nose. I still need those people to tell me if I got an internship yet in D.C.

Recent developments in my life..

-Reading and then kind of re-reading 160 pages worth of academic journal articles for my first gender roles class

-I will be attending the midwest clean energy conference March 2-4 with INPIRG. If anyone is interested in going, you can look up details on this site

- I've been applying for internships. One organization in DC said that they will set up an interview with me. I really like them and I'm excited. its called the jubilee network http://www.jubileeusa.org/ .Sooo I will be possibly going to DC one random weekend and I can visit my cousin!! I will pee in my pants if I get the internship. It would be really cool to be in DC during the summer and woo hoo social networking! DC is like non-profit heaven

-I applied to transfer for U of I. I'm going to be really broke one day. I need to save money. Those U of I wankers are being slow with the application process though.

-Study abroad- 2nd semester junior year I was thinking about going to buenos airies. If I'm done early with my requirements senior year, I plan on going to cape town, south africa 2nd semester. Lets hope my parents won't be a pain in the ass

During my first sexual diversity class, we watched a video where we saw women showing their vulvas for this photography project. I saw like 40 vulvas. They are quite ugly just like penises. She compared vulvas to different styles of architecture. I saw baroque vulvas, minimalist vulvas, gothic vulvas. This one woman made her vulva talk. The woman who made this film is friends with my profesor and she showed her vulva. She described some vulvas as cute. She also teaches women how to masterabate while sitting right next to them with a mirror right near their vulva. Thank god I didn't see that.

During my second class we watched penises and talked about other things. My professor did research at clubs where pepole pee on eachother and he told us that one of his assistants was trying to look for him. That guy caught my profesor peeing in somone's mouth. I can't believe he told us that. He also observes beastility clubs and knew masters and johnsons.

In my contemporary africa class this stupid buisness major was like blah blah blah I don't know anything about africa and I'm not really interested in it. I don't want to do a ton of reading. Fine don't take the fucking class then and stop annoying the people around you. People like that make me hate buisness majors more than I already do.

I returned!! These two weeks were stressful, but I'm glad that I survived through them. Anywoo, my break will consist if applying for internships in DC for the summer, finishing my citzenship application, catching up on movies, reading, and, kickin it with people (CALL ME PEOPLE I MISS YOU!). So its 1:40am and I'm on page 7 of a paper that should be 18 pages. I'm so fucked. Its due Thusday. So here is one of the pet peeves. I'm in this area in more dorm where people do their hw and there is a fucking piano there. I am obviously slaving over my paper and listenining to music. This girl 10 feet behind me has been playing the piano crapfully for half an hour. I wish I had the balls to tell her to get the fuck out of here and stop playing like shit and never play the piano ever again. If I saw someone doing their work, I wouldn't be showing off my shitastic piano skills to the poor person writing a paper. That girl is should end up in the 4th circle of hell. Ahhh why are people so annoying. Stop playing..I'm listening to the beatles. Should I just yell really loudly?

the problem I have with easy classes is that they bore me.....and hard classes well have too much work..I need a balance

Sooo I'll give people an update on me!!!! Exciting I know..NOT

-This weekend I'm going white water rafting, hiking, and camping in North Carolina
- I help put together a volunteer opportunities fair for Volunteer Student Bureau...I have to come up with some big environmental project on campus...This might be a little stressful..VSB takes up like 3+ hours of my week but its still enjoyable
- I joined habitat for humanity and inpirg. Inpirg is some organization that has environmental, student debt, and homeless campaigns on campus.
- I finished my application to go to Legon, Ghana. I really hope my parents let me go!!!
- I really like the people on my floor soo that makes me happy
- My classes don't seem that bad...Spanish lit takes up alot of time because I have to look up alot of the words and there is this element of surrealism in hispanic lit so that makes me a little confused in translation. And I like my African American politics class so far. Maybe because we haven't done any work but the work will pile on

I'm leaving for school tomm...EEEK!! I'm nervous....I'll try to make things better for myself. And I want to study and get good grades, maybe work at some indian restaruant, be part of the volunteer student bureau, work at this homeless shelter, join a bunch of clubs, and meet new people. And I need to fill out study abroad applications for Ghana and Barcelona. I need 2 prof recomendations. This sucks because most of my classes are huge because I go to a huge state school and the professors don't know you that well. So I'll just ask random profesors like my art and democracy and my social work professor to write it for me bc I think they like me. I don't want to go..But I know part of growing up is being in sucky situations and you just have to live with it sometimes. Not every year of my life can be exciting.. Wish me luck!!! I need it!!

I'm finally done with summer school. Thank god i don't have to see that 70 year old man anymore in my class...He would interrupt the teacher during lecture and interupt everyone while they talked..I think my profesor bought her PHD from Austria....I changed my classes around like 5000 times this summer...bahhh... I decided I can't take anymore lame ass spanish grammer and writing classes so I changed on of my classes to some spanish lit class...This semester I think I'm going to take advantage of all the activities that my dorm does (its the outdoor adventures dorm).. I really want to go white water rafting even though I can't swim...I might get killled...Whateva...Next summer I'm probably going to India thank god..I haven't been there for like 3 years and that feels like a long time because alot of my family members live there..I might be there for like 2 months or something like that...2-3 weeks for family time and the rest of the time well be spent doing some volunteer work....I want to improve my gujrathi so maybe I'll stay in gujarat..hmmmm

good public transportaion
ammmmmmazing musuems because the British stole shit from everyone...seriously they ripped all the decore and statues off the Patheon and put it in their musuem...unbelievable
- Tower of London is aight...we saw the most expensive diamond in the world there, the kohinoor diamond which they stole form India...big surprise
- the pound is 1.8 to a dollar...that sucks
- I saw Les Mis....this lady from minnosota right next to me was complaining about the seats....and then she was crying during the singing...she was awesome
- people dress really well there..they have their own personal style. it isn't just trendy stuff. they aren't afraid to be a little experimental
- I enjoy the diversity....you know people speaking tons of different languages everywhere, on the streets, on the tube....my sissy told me you never know who will understand our language, gujarathi, so I should watch out...
-PDAing is more socially acceptable...there is tons..it makes me a little uncomfortable when you are next to those PDAers on the tube. I saw some lady breastfeeding on the tube...it scared me
-oh and we also went to cambridge...but we only had 2 hours to see things so we took one of those tourist lame buses
- I'll consider living/studying there in the future if I can

Summer school:
I don't mind commuting because they have the express train in the morning...There is 70 year old man who asks irrevalent questions and says useless things like ohhhh I lived in Brazil for 2 years in the 1970s...the teacher says umm and ughhh at least 5 times every 2 minutues...no joke..it drives me nuts...but classs goes by quickly so I don't mind
